Integrated Resource Management Plans (IRMPs)
In coordination with the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), we have assisted Indian tribes in developing their IRMPs. An effective IRMP clearly describes cultural, environmental and socioeconomic development opportunities, with an evaluation of long-term resource management policies. With a comprehensive IRMP in place, tribal governments are better able to assess tribal resources and develop action plans to manage these resources. We develop management strategies that provide direction and stability for the sustained growth of tribal economies, while preserving traditional values and protecting sensitive resources.
