Surface Water & Erosion Control
We are committed to providing efficient, sustainable and effective designs for surface water and erosion control. We provide watershed modeling to design and construct runoff treatment and control structures, stream and shoreline stabilization, and drainage reclamation. We achieve erosion and sediment control by utilizing geotextiles, conventional structures, and bioengineering techniques.
Monitoring
We design and implement hydrologic monitoring programs, including direct stream discharge measurements, remote monitoring stations, and telemetry for remote monitoring and data collection. We offer water quality sampling services using direct grab sampling and remote mechanized sampling equipment.
Modeling
We offer single-event driven hydrologic modeling for small urban drainages and for larger, more complex drainage basins. We can model erosion and sedimentation within disturbed and undisturbed watersheds.
Design
Through complete analysis of watershed characteristics, we design stream bank and channel stabilization systems, including energy dissipation structures, bioengineering, rip-raping and other forms of channel armoring and riparian vegetation planting. We also design and construct culvert crossings and sediment detention ponds.
Stream Channel Restoration
In order to provide effective, long-term solutions for stream channel disturbance, our designs address the isolated root causes of destabilization. The result is a product which is not only graded by its mechanical functionality but in its ability to sustain aquatic and riparian habitat.
